Sally McNeill Signs For Warriors

Aspire Warriors PFC are delighted to announce the signing of Sally McNeill for the 2026/27 Slater & Gordon Championship season.

Sally has had a glittering career so far, placing her as one of the most decorated female players to play the sport.

McNeill is a true Aspire legend, winning several Premiership titles, WFA Cups and an EPFA Champions Cup with the club. Everybody at the club is delighted that she will stay and help develop the Warriors.

Alongside quality on the ball, Sally brings a wealth of experience and leadership abilities to the squad and will be a key character across the campaign.

Speaking just after her signing, Sally McNeill said: "I am excited for the opportunity of playing as part of the Aspire Warriors squad. I feel that we can develop into a strong team with the support of the wider Aspire family.

"Using the experience from myself, Rich and Jordan we endeavour to support our already very talented younger team mates to reach their full potential, and I am confident that we can be competitive in the Championship next season."

Coach Tom Kelly said: "Sally has been part of the club structure for a long time so brings experience and knowledge for the other players on and off the pitch.

"Sally has been in some very good Aspire first team squads and can bring her quality, like strength in battles for possession and a great ability to generate power on the ball, to the Warriors squad this season."

Sally will wear her trademark number two for the Warriors next season.
