Aspire Warriors Land Gaikwad Signing

Aspire Warriors PFC are delighted to announce the signing of Parth Gaikwad following his departure from WBA Throstles.

Parth began his football journey in the Aspire hub, and has played for the Aspire Lions, Evergreen and Muscle Warriors at various points throughout his career.

He has also played away from Aspire, at Brighton, where he won the Championship, and most recently for West Bromwich Albion Throstles in the Premiership.

Gaikwad was an absolutely integral part of an excellent Throstles team last season, being one of the most impressive defensive players in the league.

With Premiership calibre, an a Championship promotion already on his CV, Parth is an immensely exciting signing for the Warriors.

Coach Jon Bolding said: “Parth was the missing piece in our puzzle and I am so glad to get him over the line.

“He has so much experience and knowledge of the game and it’s going to be key in the style of football we want to play. We are so pleased to have Parth with us on this journey”

Parth Gaikwad said: “I’m incredibly excited to join Aspire Warriors for the season ahead and cannot wait to grow and develop within the Aspire pathway while learning from some of the very best, including Jon and Dan.

“I’m looking forward to embracing an aggressive four-out style of football and challenging myself to become the best player I can be.

“Together, I hope we can set the standard for the league, compete at the highest level and ultimately win it!”

Parth will wear the number 31 for the Warriors in the 2026/27 Slater & Gordon Championship campaign.
