"Aspire has given me so many experiences within powerchair football. Working my way through the hub and getting to represent all the teams has been Incredible."
Jon Bolding
“I have played for Aspire for 24 years and I cannot explain what representing this fantastic club means to me. It’s given me so many lifetime memories that I will cherish and remember for the rest of my life. Aspire is not just a football club it’s a family”
Jordan Williams
"Playing powerchair football at a high level for the past 15 years with Aspire has been one of the most defining parts of my life. It’s brought me unforgettable memories, friendships that feel like family, and a sense of purpose that goes far beyond the sport itself. I’ve experienced incredible highs, moments of joy, pride, and hard-earned success, and I’ve faced lows that have tested my resilience and character. But through it all, powerchair football and Aspire have given me a place to grow, to compete, and to truly belong. It’s more than just a game - it’s been a journey, and I’m grateful for every second of it".
Hungry for more success...
The 2025/26 season is one where Captain Jon Bolding will expect his team to deliver.

Many will reflect on the previous season as a period of transition. With League, Cup and Champions league success continuing their established tradition until 2024, personnel changes meant 2024/25 came served with a reminder that success is often hard-earned. Although a Cup winning run - that culminated in one of the best finals of recent years - was richly deserved, Jon will feel that a 3rd place finish in the Premiership leaves plenty of room to develop further.

Last season was one of real change, right until the end. John Dickson who joined the club from West Brom Throstles, quickly developed into an accomplished and integral part of the team. Having helped the team lift an 8th Disability Cup trophy, Rosie Hodgson moved to Villa Rockets in the close season. Bobby Williams' retirement into his new coaching role meant recruitment was again on the cards.

With Rich George's arrival, Aspire PFC now have a very talented addition for the 2025/26 season. Wearing the famous Aspire shirt, he has tasted Premiership and Cup success in the past, and he'll be keen to add further successes to his burgeoning trophy cabinet.

Supported by a team full of strength-in-depth - that also boasts the hugely experienced and decorated players of Dan Mclellan, Sally McNeill, Jordan Williams and Tom Kelly - there is an embarrassment of riches to unlock any and every defence.

Jon will be pleased that the early signs are positive, as he'll see this season as a time to deliver. Top of the Premiership at Christmas and firing on all cylinders in the regional leagues, this campaign still promises so much with Aspire seeming very keen to deliver on all fronts.
